On 4 December, in a ceremony at the Festival Hall of the University of Vienna the SKILL2E project was given the national Austrian Life-long Learning Award by the Minister of Science of Research, Karlheinz Töchterle, and the Minister of Education, Claudia Schmidt. Among the numerous submission, the project was chosen on the grounds of its fruitful cooperation between universities and enterprises, its focus on skill building through its comprehensive support structure for students on transnational plecements.
